Thursday, Ireland's Central Statistics Office announced that the industrial output increased 2.3% year-on-year in January, compared to the 6.6% fall in the previous month. A year ago, industrial output was down 1.4%.
On a monthly basis, industrial output increased a seasonally adjusted 17.2% in January, compared to the 2.5% fall in the previous month.
Meanwhile, industrial turnover decreased 8.8% on an annual basis in January and was up 21% compared to the previous month.
